and Principal of Opus One Music: Chua
Kay Sum
An accomplished piano teacher and
choir conductor for various churches
and school choirs, Kay Sum has been
in the music industry for over 20
years. Since 1993, Kay Sum had been
running a music company that had 5
outlets and 500 students. Kay Sum
took part in master programme in Choral
conducting by AZUSA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY
(US) in year 2000. He was also the
former president of Hallelujah Oratorio
Society and is currently the president
of Singapore Church Music Association.

Professor Wei Tsin Fu:
Founder and former Principal of The
Musik Akademie Tubingen, which was
set up in 1987. Mr Wei is an active
international concert pianist and
has over 25 years of research experience
in the study of human brain functionality
and learning skills. Mr. Wei is also
the founder of The Academy of Networked
Thinking, where his unique teaching
method benefited hundreds of students.
Under his professional guidance, his
students made significant progress
in their music advancement. His effective
learning method was soon noticed by
the German Government's Department
of Education. He was invited to speak
on his method of teaching, especially,
on 'How to Maximize Children 's Learning
Power'.

Mdm. Lim Geok Choo
A former music lecturer and former Acting
Head of Music with Nanyang Academy of Fine
Arts, Geok Choo is currently a vivid piano
and theory teacher. She holds a Master of
Business Administration from University
of Leicester(UK) and a Bachelor of Music
(Hons) from University of Texas at Austin
(USA). She majored in piano pedagogy and
studied with Amanda Vick Lethco (co-author
of Alfred's Basic Piano Library method books)
and David Renner. She was awarded the university's
music department scholarship and was on
the Dean's List throughout her studies at
the University of Texas.
She also holds a theory diploma (LMusTCL)
and piano performance diploma (LTCL) from
Trinity College London(UK). She was the
recipient of the prestigious Tan Kah Kee
Fellowship

Mdm. Connie Lum May Lin
Connie is pursuing her Doctor of Education
with the University of Western Australia.
Her research thesis is entitled "Singapore
Preschool Teachers' Perspective on Creativity
and Teaching Creativity". She is currently
working as associate trainer for a few training
early childhood agencies. She has also served
as a senior curriculum specialist for the
largest early childhood care provider in
Singapore.
Senior Teacher:
> Mr. Kenneth Chan
Kenneth Chan is a graduate in the composition
and piano performance of western classical
music. With over 20 years of active involvement
in the many different areas of numerous
musical presentations. His participation
comes through as a pianist, organist and
Tenor in A cappella and orchestral works.
He has also composed and arranged various
works for chorus and chamber music. Including
pieces performed as early as medieval and
as contemporary as jazz.
The
one role which Kenneth has never stopped
playing is that of a music teacher;
"nourishing is more fulfilling than blooming,
because it allows me to constantly grow
together with my students." he says;
This passion & enthusiasm has led him to
fully focus on music education. At Opus
One Music, he continues his belief with
us as a music teacher teaching both music
theory and piano performance, and extending
to all, who shares the love of seeking for
intellectual guidance.
